Routine as Repertoire

VERONICA

Veronica is a lymphedema therapist, as well as a patient. Three years ago, she suddenly lost sensation on her left arm, and her body became inflamed, swollen and filled with pain. After numerous scans and doctor visits, her chronic inflammation stayed inconclusive. The acceptance of her condition took some time, and she has incorporated a repertoire of care work that she does to manage the chronic pain. It includes researching and experimenting with different treatments, utilizing compression garments and aromatherapy, taking various supplements such as fish oil and curcumin, drainage massage using a roller and exercising. Despite the challenges, she trained for, and completed the Camino de Santiago in 2019.
