After a stroke, Linda developed different impairments that include aphasia, the loss of ability to understand or express speech. She has now improved tremendously after constant practice. During the COVID circuit-breaker in Singapore, she learned how to use the computer to join the virtual Chit-Chat Cafe organized by Aphasia.sg, a volunteer organized event that bring together those with aphasia so that they can support and practice speaking with each other.
